Five-year-old chesnut gelding (Jumps) Trainer: Ben Pauling (Cotswolds) Shares available for £58

Shares are available in the five-year-old chesnut gelding, It's Hard To Know. This tough and genuine young horse really took the eye on his Point-to-Point debut at Kirkistown on 10 February, when kicking clear after the last fence to score decisively. The form of his Point-to-Point is already working out very well, with the fourth-placed Cabaret Prince winning impressively on his next start and Our Shane, who was pulled up in It's Hard To Know's race, getting off the mark at Tyrella on 2 March. It's Hard To Know is by Malinas, who has sired a number of top jumpers, including Medinas (Grade 2 winner over hurdles), American (Listed chase winner and Grade 2 placed), and Mister Malarky (Grade 2 novice chase winner). It's Hard To Know is from the family of Lakemilan, a six-time winner, including a Grade 2 success over hurdles and multiple Pattern race placings. It's Hard To Know is in training with Ben Pauling in Gloucestershire. Ben has enjoyed an excellent season, and his state-of-the-art yard boasts splendid facilities. It's Hard To Know is likely to be ready to run from the autumn (2024) and start off in novice hurdles. "I really like It's Hard To Know. He fitted into life here very easily in the spring and went well. I am looking forward to going hurdling with him in the autumn. • Idaho Valley

    Idaho Valley

Four-year-old bay gelding (Jumps) Trainer: Donald McCain (Cheshire) Shares available for £59

Shares are available in the four-year-old gelding, Idaho Valley. This very good-looking son of Idaho won his only point-to-point start in Ireland in February, displaying an excellent attitude. The race at Tallow looked competitive on paper and it could throw up plenty of winners in time. He and the second-placed Dont Tell Jack pulled over 20 lengths clear of the third. Idaho Valley is well-related, being a half-brother to the four-time winner, Toss Again. He is from the family of Cab On Target and Glenelly Gale, both Grade 1 winning chasers. His sire, Idaho, was runner-up in the Irish Derby and won the Group 2 Hardwicke Stakes at Ascot as a four-year-old. Idaho Valley is in training with Donald McCain, who sourced this horse in Ireland with Owners Group in mind. Donald has enjoyed great success for Owners Group over the past few years, particularly with the Grade 1-placed Maximilian. Idaho Valley progressed well in his initial training with Donald McCain, and he will now enjoy a summer break. Idaho Valley is due to go novice hurdling in the autumn. He will hopefully make up into a chaser in time. "Idaho Valley is a lovely type and has settled in really well at Bankhouse Stables. I am happy with the progress Idaho Valley has made, and we have saved him for novice hurdles this coming autumn, depending on how he progresses further. He was very tough in his point-to-point, and I loved how he battled to deny the well-fancied runner-up." Donald McCain
